Growing up in the 1980s New York in a family of accomplished musicians, Max studied classical piano while staying up late nights to record radio DJ’s on kiss FM. In the 1990s, he trained as an audio engineer and worked at iconic NYC recording studios like Unique Recording, Hit Factory, and Axis, collaborating with artists such as Ice-Cube, Michael Jackson, and C&C Music Factory to name a few. Alongside this, he released techno records on various labels inspired by early rave culture.

In the 2000s, he produced projects with both local and international artists, and worked on over 20 nationally aired TV commercials, video games, and films in post-production. As a live mixer, he engineered events with a diverse musical range of artists including David Bowie, Adele, Philip Glass and Orchestra, Talib Kweli, Richie Hawtin, 9th Wonder and others at venues from festivals, concert halls, theaters to nightclubs.

His expertise also extends to the AV industry, where he designed and operated large-scale multimedia events for top Fortune 500 companies and recently managed and consulted for leading boutique music instrument manufacturers.

With his ability to bring out the best in music production, effectively communicate ideas with results or solve real-world problems with both business and technical acumen makes him a valuable asset to any project.
